In keeping with our commitment to international expansion, JORCAR has assumed a high degree of involvement in the IAC – Integrated Aluminium Components business processes automation.
Already for some years, our company in close collaboration with the Management of IAC as well as your production and quality improvement departments has designed different models of cassettes for components to be used in the anodizing plant that IAC has at Nelson (United Kingdom).
Initially our work has focused on the improving of some of their simplest racks to prevent breakage and lower rates of loss of the components in the interior of the tanks, a goal that has been reached adapting the rack pins to the different components.
The highlight of this process has been the automation of one of its components by cassette racks that can be automated with robot. The process began some months ago in search for pins and a more dimensioned design for integration of the frame on a robotic machine as well as in the daily handling of the workers of the plant, especially in regards to weight and manageability. We have also been the company that has designed the frames that housed the cassettes and which have been adapted to the line.
In close collaboration with an important Catalan machines manufacturer company, and always with the corresponding fluidity of talks between the 3 Parties, project has become a tangible reality that improves the IAC production and reduces the losses of components.
A great success for which we congratulate to IAC and his General Manager, Mr. Don McCombe.
